Light rain on its own doesn't always mean the castle has to come down, but we don't run castles in strong winds or thunderstorms. We keep a close eye on the forecast and we'll be in touch with you if there's anything that looks like it could be a problem. We'll always talk through your options with you rather than leaving you to figure it out on your own.
A gentle slope is usually fine and it's something we come across fairly regularly in this part of Somerset. We assess the ground when we arrive and position the castle to make sure it's level and properly anchored before any children go on it. If a slope is particularly steep we'll let you know straight away, because we won't set up anything we're not fully happy with from a safety point of view.
Summer weekends around Weston Super Mare book up quickly, especially from June through to August. As a rough guide, a few weeks' notice is good, but if you've got a specific date in mind for a bigger occasion it's worth getting in touch sooner rather than later. We'd hate to have to turn you away, so it's always better to check early and we're happy to hold a date while you're finalising plans.
Nothing complicated, just make sure the area is reasonably clear of garden furniture, toys, or anything sharp that might be sitting on the grass.
