Common Questions from Avonmouth Customers
It does vary depending on which castle you hire, but as a rough guide you'll want at least a couple of metres of clear space around the castle itself on all sides. Some of our smaller models work well in more compact gardens, so if you're not sure, just send us your garden dimensions and we'll give you an honest answer. We'd rather tell you something won't fit than turn up on the day and have a problem.
Yes, we can set up on artificial grass, and we can also work with patios and hard surfaces in some cases. We use sandbags and anchoring equipment where pegs can't be used, so it's not automatically a problem. Just let us know what surface you've got when you enquire and we'll make sure we bring the right setup with us.
Light rain usually isn't a showstopper, but strong winds are a different matter and we take wind safety seriously. We monitor conditions in the Avonmouth and Severnside area on the day, and if we have genuine concerns we'll be in touch with you early so you're not left in the dark. We'll always try to find a solution, and we'll talk through your options honestly rather than just cancelling without explanation.
Summer weekends book up quickly, especially from May through to August. We'd recommend getting in touch at least four to six weeks ahead if you can, particularly for Saturdays. That said, we do sometimes have availability at shorter notice, so it's always worth asking even if you've left it a bit late.
For most garden party hires we drop off, set up, and then come back at the agreed end time to take everything down. You're responsible for supervising the castle while it's in use, and we'll go through all of that with you clearly when we set up. If you have any questions on the day, you can always call us directly.
Avonmouth is well within our regular delivery area so there's no excessive travel charge, and we're used to working around different access situations in the area. If you've got a narrow road, a height restriction, or any other access consideration, just flag it when you book. We'd much rather know in advance so we can plan accordingly and make sure the day goes smoothly for everyone.
